Christmas Trees

Last week was my annual trip to the Festival of Trees.

There were a lot of really pretty trees and it was fun to see all of them. Here are the trees that we got this year.

Scrap Happy

I have finally started using some of the many scraps that I have from all of my quilts. Just thought you might enjoy the beautiful creations that they are.

Someone might even know what quilt the scraps are from.

Is it working??

Socks thinks that she needs to use the wii fit. She gets mad and growls and hisses when anyone tries to make her move, although I don't think it is doing her much good.

Kids

Kids like to come over to my house and play with all the toys. They even set the table and are all ready to eat.

Noodles

In my family we like to have home made noodles. My parents don't like to make them anymore so whne we have them, everyone has to help if they want some.

Newspaper Fun

My nephews like to come over and help Grandpa take the newspapers to the recycle bin. I think the reason they like is so much is that they get to ride in the wheel barrel.

Stupid Socks

The stupid cat that we have seems to really love my niece's shoes. Every time she comes to visit this is what Socks does. She doesn't do this with anybody elses shoes.

I've Downsized

On Sunday the tv quit working so we had to use the tv from the trailer. As you can tell we are have a hard time seeing what is on. Hopefully we will be able to get a new one before long.

Madilyn Rose's Blessing

Today my niece, Tricia, had her baby Madilyn Rose blessed. She sure is a cutie. Here are a few pictures from the luncheon afterwards.

Snow & Cookies

Yesterday I went for a ride with my parents, Brenda, my sister and her boys, Canyon & Ryker. We went to Daniel's Summit and met Debbie & Glen, my sister and brother in law. It was nice to get to visit with them, as we don't get to see them very often.

Here is Canyon & Ryker standing next to a snow pile. As you can see there is still quite a bit of snow up there.

If you look close you can see the eave of the building at the top of the pile.

When we got home Ryker came over and we made some cookies.

He was very careful not to make a mess while he was frosting his cookie.

If you can't tell, he also enjoyed eating them.

Sweet & Sour

My nephew, Ryker came over the other day to help make cookies. He had a lot of fun.

First, he had to help Grandpa measure the brown sugar..

then he had to make sure that the sugar was still good.

After the cookie dough was mixed, he had to taste test that as well.

Even though he loves the sweets, he also likes the sour, like eating grapefruit with Grandma!
